A Louisiana Tech University VISTA Scholar, Jacob Broussard, had the amazing opportunity to partner with Dr. John Stewart IV and Tech Associate Professor of Biology, Dr. Jamie Newman, to write an interactive children’s book. The Journey of Dr. John Stewart IV tells the story of Dr. Stewart while also learning activities for children. Jacob Broussard is a co-author and illustrator of this 18-page book. All students at Louisiana Tech University have big hopes and dreams for what they want to do after they graduate, but Senior, Jessica Trinh, is making her dreams come true. Before coming to Louisiana Tech, Jessica lived in Bossier City, Louisiana, which is also why she chose to come to Tech. Her first idea for a major was dental hygiene, but she decided to follow her passion, art. So she decided to major in graphic design with a minor in studio art. Jessica has loved art her entire life but learned about graphic design when she became apart of the visual art center at LA Tech.
